Impression
The texture on this platter was created by pressing a piece of knitting into the clay. The knitting represents a single thread looped together with various dropped stitches and arrangements of holes which distort when pressed into the clay. The glaze is the same as that for 'Offering' which has behaved differently on this rutted surface. |
